New laptop!
I just picked up a pretty damn awesome laptop from Ebay for $600 — a big chunk less than I was originally planning on spending!
It was SORT of a spur of the moment decision, because I had been planning on researching for longer and thinking about desktop vs. laptop but THEN I DIDN’T
Now in about a week I can Guild Wars 2 all over the place!

The new Discworld series “The Watch” (AKA CSI:Ankh-Morpork) has been approved by Terry Pratchett and will go into production with BBC Worldwide.
The GOOD OMENS film is a go: the trailer was shown here (at the Discworld Convention in Birmingham). No release date was specified. “The trailer said “COMING SOON”, so your guess is as good as anybody’s.)
